Pricing & Billing questions
What things cost, what's one-time vs. monthly, how plans are billed, and what you can expect to save.
Website Prices & Quotes
Website packages are one-time: Launch $1,850 one-time, Grow $2,450 one-time, and Custom Starting at $3,250 one-time. The website audit is also one-time ($199 one-time). Maintenance plans (Starter $149 per month, Growth $299 per month, Pro $499 per month) and managed hosting ($12.99 per month or $84.99 per year) are recurring and optional. Marketing, AI, and operations services have a one-time setup fee and a monthly fee, always listed separately.
Your domain, your Wheelbase Pro subscription, advertising spend, telephony and SMS charges, usage-based AI services, and any software subscriptions are billed by those providers. They aren't part of our fees unless your proposal expressly includes them.
Usage and provider charges are set out in your proposal, either as an included allowance or billed separately. No AI plan includes unlimited calls, messages, changes, or integrations.
Monthly pricing covers the scope listed in the selected plan. Third-party subscriptions, advertising spend, telephony, SMS, usage-based AI services, and out-of-scope development are charged separately unless expressly included in your proposal.
Monthly marketing, AI agent, and fleet operations services have a 3-month minimum term, then continue month to month. Cancel with 30 days' written notice. Maintenance plans and hosting are month to month. Setup fees are non-refundable, and annual plans are paid upfront and aren't refunded.
You keep your website, domain, and content, and you receive all design files. Allow at least 10 days for a handover. Migration help is free during your included support period or while you're on a plan, and billed after a plan is cancelled. AI agents and automations run on our accounts, so they stop when the service ends.
Hosting keeps the site online, secure, and fast. A maintenance plan (Starter, Growth, or Pro) is ongoing work on the site itself: updates, backups, security checks, SEO blog content, and, on Pro, local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization. You can have hosting without a plan, or host the site yourself.
If we maintain your site, the Pro plan ($499 per month) already covers local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, 4 SEO blog posts, and website work each month. Monthly SEO ($399–$999 per month) is for sites that don't need a maintenance plan, or that need more SEO than Pro includes, like more content, several locations, or a competitive market.
Mobile usability review, Core page and vehicle-page review, Booking journey review, Website speed and basic technical checks, Basic SEO and metadata review, Analytics and tracking checks where access is provided, Prioritized findings and recommendations. Implementing the fixes is quoted separately.
It hands the conversation to a person. Agents work from information you approve, transfer uncertain or sensitive requests to your team, and don't make unverified claims about availability, pricing, insurance, eligibility, refunds, or policy exceptions. Every setup includes an escalation path and a manual fallback.
We review the services you asked about and reply within 24 hours with the appropriate next step, usually a short call and then a written proposal with one-time and monthly costs listed separately. Any pricing shown while you configured services is an estimate until the scope and integrations are confirmed.
Choose a managed website if you want a low upfront cost and want us to host and maintain the site: plans start at $99/month plus a $299 one-time setup, for fleets of up to 20 vehicles. Choose a custom build if you want to own the website outright, need a bespoke design or custom features, or would rather pay once: packages start at $1,850 one-time. Both connect to Wheelbase Pro or HQ Rental Software.
The build is a one-time project fee. There is no mandatory recurring DRW website fee after your included support period. Domain, hosting, and your Wheelbase Pro or HQ Rental Software subscription are separate ongoing costs you hold directly, the same as with any website.
Yes. You retain ownership and control of your website and domain, subject to the project agreement. For WordPress packages you receive administrator access and can manage your content and vehicle listings yourself. For custom projects, ownership and access to the agreed deliverables transfer according to the project agreement.
You can manage the website yourself, continue with your existing tools, or purchase additional support from DRW only when you need it. You are not required to remain on a DRW maintenance plan.
No. Your booking platform is your own account and subscription, billed directly by Wheelbase or HQ Rental Software. Every package includes integration with your existing Wheelbase Pro or HQ Rental Software system using supported methods, but the subscription itself is separate.
Custom projects are scoped individually. The $3,250 figure is a genuine starting point for custom development rather than a fixed package price, because the functionality, integrations, and workflows differ for every business. Larger builds are quoted after discovery, in writing, before any work starts.
Mobile usability review, Core page and vehicle-page review, Booking journey review, Website speed and basic technical checks, Basic SEO and metadata review, Analytics and tracking checks where access is provided, Prioritized findings and recommendations. It costs $199 one-time, and implementing the fixes is quoted separately.
Not automatically. Calls, messages, telephony, and AI usage are set out in your proposal, either as an included allowance or billed separately. No AI plan includes unlimited calls or messages.
Yes. Additional services and functionality can be added to any package when required — additional pages, more SEO content, local SEO, advanced Rent-to-Own, integrations, or ongoing support. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before work starts.
Managed Website Billing
Choose a plan, then check out securely through Stripe. Your first payment is the $299 setup fee plus your first month; after that you're billed the plan price until you cancel. After payment, a welcome page explains the next steps, starting with your business details.
Yes. There's no minimum term: cancel with 30 days' written notice.
Yes. Upgrades start right away; downgrades take effect at your next billing date, and your fleet must fit the lower plan's vehicle limit. There's no new setup fee when you change plans.
Your website stays live until the end of the paid period, then goes offline. For 30 days after that, you can request an export of your content, images, and vehicle data, or ask us to quote a standalone copy of the website you can take elsewhere.
Your booking software subscription, payment processing fees, and domain registration are paid by you to those providers. Insurance, CRM, and other software subscriptions are separate too.
Savings & ROI
It's a directional estimate built from the numbers you enter, not a guarantee. Actual results depend on your market, how much traffic you drive to your own site, and how consistently you shift bookings over time. Use it to see the shape of the opportunity, then bring your numbers to a free consultation to stress-test them against your specific fleet.
Commission structures vary by platform and by your program tier, so check your own payout statement for the actual rate rather than assuming a flat number. The calculator defaults to a common starting estimate — adjust it once you've confirmed your real rate and the results update instantly.
Any booking that comes through your own website instead of a marketplace listing — no per-transaction commission attached, whether the renter found you through search, a referral, or came back after a previous rental with you.
No. Most operators run both. This calculator assumes marketplace bookings continue for renters who find you there, and simply adds direct bookings on top for repeat customers, referrals, and traffic you generate yourself.
It depends on fleet size and how long you've been building a direct channel, which is why the presets above vary by fleet size. Newer operators often target 25–35% direct within the first year of adding a website; established fleets with a longer repeat-customer base can go higher. Your actual ceiling is worth discussing on a call, since it depends on your market.
